Antelope Dam

The Antelope Dam is not to far from the Idaho border, near the beautiful Jordan Valley, in Malheur County. Access to the dam from Hwy 95, has 1 mile of hard packed gravel, but Steve says it is very do-able and he didn't even get his bike dirty.

Antelope Dam which creates the Antelope Reservoir is of earthen construction. Its height is 60 feet with a length of 850 feet. Maximum discharge is 440 cubic feet per second. Its capacity is 55000 acre feet. Normal storage is 55000 acre feet. It drains an area of 52 square miles.
