~ Crescent Lake Dam ~ OR ~ 196 mi from PDX - 346 mi Sea-Tac.
Crescent Lake is formed from Crescent Creek and is used for recreation in addition to irrigation. The dam is located 3 miles off of Highway 58, outside the town of Crescent Lake Junction, east of Willamette Pass. There is a resort, Crescent Lake Lodge, located right on the lake near the dam. They offer food and lodging year round.
The snow picture on the right, lets you know this is not an early dam hit. This was taken at the back gate on our January preview dam quest trip, and where we turned around.
