Maps for 2012 Dam List . . .
Twenty dams, a Lighthouse, a Ferry, a State Park and a Rest Area make up this year's adventure. It will be some great riding, we guarantee it! 8 dams in Oregon and 8 in Washington, some other FUN stuff and the best Bonus dams yet. Plan on riding in Oregon, Washington, Nevada, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, New Mexico and depending on your route maybe Arizona, Utah and California. WOW!
We KNOW these maps and directions will help you in your quest for some great life experiences. We find interesting facts and/or links and photos to spur your imagination and excitement so you'll get off the couch and get going. We encourage you to help us with additional info as you tour these dams and the surrounding areas. Photos, tips on routes, places to see, stay and eat are always appreciated. Bonus Map . . .
OK, Bonus Dams. We went WAY out this year and the potential for life altering adventure is huge! Nevada, Montana, Wyoming and New Mexico are the targets. The routing choices are almost endless. Canyons, Mountains, Plains, Valleys, Desert, Forest and raging Rivers are on the menu. Some famous roads too. Route 66, The Loneliest Road in America, Moab, Moki Dugway, Extraterrestrial Highway, Beartooth Highway and more. You can do this two ways:
- Plan a detailed route and stick to it, make reservations, calculate gas stops, etc.
- Pack a Visa Card with some limit and go! The choice is yours. The reward is priceless.
