~ Salmon Lake Dam ~ WA ~ 390 mi from PDX - 257 mi Sea-Tac.
Salmon Lake Dam on Salmon Creek looms over the town of Conconully, Washington. The River continues south of Conconully, where a second dam, Conconully Dam, forms another lake downstream of the town. Be sure you are at the right dam. Conconully is about 17 miles northwest of Omak VIA a paved road.
Again our thanks to Jim Carroll for his help in getting photos of the area, as well as securing some great rider perks, detailed below. Conconully is rolling out the red carpet for DamTour riders with discounts for lodging and food, be sure the check these out, and say "Hi and Thank You! ".
For the dual sport riders, there are also unpaved roads to Salmon Lake from the West and North.
