DamTour 2011:

marker 7 ~ Selmac Dam ~ Oregon ~  270 mi from PDX - 444 mi Sea-Tac.

Lake Selmac is located in Josephine County, Oregon, approximately 18 miles southwest of Grants Pass. Two streams flow into Lake Selmac reservoir, from the south, Quedo and McMullen creeks. A 33 foot high dam is located at the north end of the reservoir that flows back into McMullen creek. The confluence of Thompson and McMullen creeks occurs just north of the dam.

While Lake Selmac Dam is only 18 miles southwest of Grants Pass by way of Hwy 199, for really great ride, come in from Brookings down 101 and take the Smith River cut-off to Hwy 199 and into Selma. Awesome.
