Sponsors for DamTour 2009 . . .
DamTour 2009 is looking for 3 (or 4 max.) top of the line sponsors that truly believe in promoting motorcycle riding in the great northwest.
We need sponsors that believe in encouraging riders to get out and ride, not just buy the bike that is parked in the garage. Sponsors that understands, "this", is the key to good repeat business. That know that it takes more than promoting a weekend ride out of the dealership. That are willing to devote the time and manpower to encourage their customers to get out there and enjoy new experiences.
How many times have you heard your customers talk of going for a weekend ride and it is always the same route or destination? How many times have you heard riders ask, were can we ride this weekend? What roads are good? What might be a fun ride?
Well . . . . ., where we believe what Philosophers for centuries have said . . .
"It's the journey, not the destination"
. . . that makes travel so exciting. This is even more true when the journey takes place from the saddle of your favorite motorcycle.
DamTour offers Twenty (20) Dam Good Places to Ride every year. Motorcyclists from all over our western states have been discovering the REAL Northwest during the past six years while participating in DamTour.
The dams are simply an end to the means and are justified. The journey to these dams almost always takes us on the road less traveled. Almost always lead to the fork in the road to which Yogi Berra referred. And we almost always take it.

If you want to encourage customers to ride, give them a reason to ride. Then they will really enjoy and love the sport of motorcycling, and they will come back to your store. They will come in to buy riding gear. They will want d need riding gear for all seasons. They will come in to buy maintenance supplies. They will buy new tires, and services. They will want new accessories and “bling” for their bikes . They will even come back for their next bike or another bike for a family member. Once the flame of passion for riding ignites, it is hard to put it out.
