The downstream view of Sullivan Dam

Sullivan Lake Dam, is tucked away in the hills east of Metaline Falls, 95 miles north of Spokane, WA. It lies near the Canadian border take road 9345 to reach the north end of the lake and the dam. There is an abandoned wooden flume, canal, tunnel, and powerhouse structure near by.

The dam is owned and operated by the Public Utility District No. 1 of Pend Oreille County. Constructed in 1920, it required structual measures to increase stability in 1992.
