Swan Falls Dam forms the Swan Falls Reservoir on the Snake River in southern Idaho about 40 miles south of Boise. There are both paved roads and gravel roads that access the dam, do your homework prior to visiting the dam.
This dam was first built in 1901, but a new power plant was built in 1990. The old plant is now a historical display. Tours are available if booked in advance. Check out the ID Power link to the right.
